Can an employer require me to undertake a police vetting as part of the job application process?
There are some jobs involving providing care to children, older people or more vulnerable members of society where it might be a requirement of the job application process for an applicant to be vetted by the Police. This is different to a criminal record check. The information provided by the Police may be different to that provided by a criminal record check. For more information see:
