Human Rights Issues for Men and Boys

The Human Rights Commission has just completed an analysis of human rights issues specific to men and boys. The Commission found that men and boys fare better than women and girls in a number of human rights areas but in others, they are disproportionately represented in negative outcomes and statistics.

While men’s human rights issues (or for that matter women’s human rights issues) are not a separate programme of work for the Commission the paper describes some major areas of concern and outlines how these issues are reflected in the Commission’s work programme.
