New EEO Staff for Commission
Sue O’Shea has been appointed Principal Advisor EEO at the Human Rights Commission. Previously, she was a policy advisor at the Public Service Association (PSA) where she focused on issues such as decent work, work-life balance, pay and employment equity, health and safety and low paid workers in the disability sector. Sue was also the co-convenor of the CTU women’s council. Before working at the PSA, Sue was an advocate for people with an intellectual disability, employed by IHC. Sue is a registered psychologist and has a Masters in Public Policy. She plays the piano, sings, enjoys films, reading and spending time with family and friends. 
Moana Eruera has been appointed Senior Advisor EEO at the Human Rights Commission. Moana’s experience is in Human Resources and Organisational Development and was recently employed by the Wellington City Council. His primary focus was on workforce planning, recruitment strategies, organisation design and engagement. Moana has a Masters in Human Resources and has experience in both the private and public sectors including as a lecturer at Massey University. In his spare time Moana volunteers both as a youth mentor and migrant employment mentor. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing the bagpipes.
